Spinning Machinery

Toyota Industries has developed a rich lineup of spinning machinery to meet the varied needs of our customers, including high-speed ring spinning frames and roving frames. We are working to combine the pursuit of great spinning performance to produce high-quality yarn, with reduced energy consumption into our product development.

RX300 (High-Speed Ring Spinning Frame)

Taking energy efficiency and flexibility to new heights

The RX300 delivers the high quality, high productivity, superior operability, and easy maintenance demanded of a spinning frame. This is accomplished through such advanced Toyota technologies as proprietary spinning geometry, positive lifting, and a 10.5-inch color function panel. We also mounted a system to handle the full range of specialty yarns; we are the first spinning frame manufacturer in the world to do this. With simple, easy operation, specialty yarns can be spun in all patterns. In addition, the Toyota Monitoring System (TMS) enables connection to the internet as well as a space-saving (up to 1,824 spindles), energy-efficient design (reduces power consumption by approximately 5%) at world-class levels, and minimal doffing times.

  • Energy savings: The spindle and drafting drive use new motors that offer high efficiency and high energy-saving performance. Additionally, the configuration of the pneumatic system has been improved, ensuring efficient suction with low drive power.
  • All-in-one versatility: From cotton to synthetic fiber, coarse count to fine count, from normal yarn to compact yarn, to fancy yarn, it can all be covered by one machine.
  • High productivity and high reliability: The robust frame structure from RX300 ensures precise operation over extended periods of long frame. The ring rail lift uses servomotor-driven screw shaft-type positive lifting that does not require belts. An ideal balloon control is achieved through the balloon control ring’s two-stage motion.

FL200 (High-Speed Roving Frame)

The state-of-the-art FL200 was born out of Toyota’s unrelenting pursuit of the ideal roving frame—one that enables anyone to produce high-quality roving at high speeds—the aim of the FL100. The independent three-motor drive established in the FL100 has evolved and developed into a four-motor drive. Additionally, the latest in servo technology and dramatically improved CPU performance provides even greater accuracy and control. The FL200 demonstrates outstanding performance in every aspect of productivity and roving quality as a result of synergy with its high-performance tension controller. Plus, an interactive color function panel with an easy-to-read icon display enables operators to automatically set the optimal conditions.

The newly developed four-motor drive contains the following:

  • Main motor: drives flyers
  • Draft motor drives: bottom rollers
  • Draft motor drives: bottom rollers
  • Winding motor: drives bobbins

The FL200 guarantees a roving process one rank above all others in every aspect of performance, including its productivity.

  • High-speed flyer: To maintain optimum output quality in high-speed operation, the FL200 uses a flyer designed especially for high-speed performance. As a result, the FL200 operates dependably at speeds up to 1,500 rpm.
  • Automatic flyer speed control device with inverter: Every customer can simply input the desired average flyer speed and basic roving conditions. Then the computer automatically establishes the correct speed progression pattern and adjusts flyer speed via the inverter to maintain a constant centrifugal force on the roving. This reduces roving breakage for improved efficiency and ease of operation.
  • Advanced control system: We have added a new control feature that successively predicts and corrects the actual amount of increase in bobbin diameter based on continuously accumulated operational data. As a result, actual conditions can be determined with greater accuracy, consistently providing the optimum package size with the optimal tension without a roving test.
